While I know the engine will turn over, the previous owner told me that her mechanic said that the “head was cracked”. We will investigate.
In the meantime, and knowing I have a lot to do on the shed to make it a garage, I procured some Marvel Mystery Oil and put a couple of tablespoons through the spark plug holes on each cylinder.
Meanwhile, I’ve had my neighbor Ray come by and advise on body work (rrrrrrrust!) and that was good.
And I took a peak at the radiator – totally rusted. And number 4 spark plug was very gunky. And the breather on the Weber is held on by a couple of interesting substitute screws. This is going to be fun.
So… bear with me. We are all anxious to get to Babycar.
First I had to build a firewood stand. My neighbors’ kids’ play structure was obliterated in one of the first storms of the season (walnut tree fell on it) and he gladly let me pick from the remains to make this. And then, we lift haul and stack…
Firewood outStacked
At that point the stuff cluttering up the inside of the shed (see earlier post) needs to be dealt with, and to do that, the shed side roof needs repairs so I can move yard equipment out there. I’m in the middle of that repair at the moment.
